Producer Scott Rudin declared today that Tony Award® winner Gavin Creeland Tony Award nominee Kate Baldwinhave expanded their runs at the most precious and successful Broadway production of this entire year: Hello, Dolly!

Ms. Peters starts performances as the title character on Saturday evening, January 20, 2018, using a Thursday, February 22 official launching in the Shubert Theatre (225 West 44th Street).

On January 20, Ms. Peters, Mr. Creel, and Ms. Baldwin is going to be joined by newly declared co-stars, four-time Tony Award nominee and six-time Emmy Award nominee Victor Garber as Horace Vandergelder and Olivier Award nominee Charlie Stemp who’ll be making his Broadway debut as Barnaby Tucker.

Bette Midler, who obtained worldwide raves and each Broadway acting honour, such as the 2017 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical, David Hyde Pierce, that received Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations for his performance, also Taylor Trensch, who now plays Barnaby Tucker, will perform their final performance on Sunday, January 14.

A brand new block of tickets goes on the market, through and in the Shubert Theatre box office, tomorrow, Saturday, September 9, at 10:00 A.M. (ET).

Mr. Creel spanned the 2017 awards for Best Featured Actor in a Musical, getting the Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle awards.

Since Irene Molloy, Ms. Baldwin was lauded by critics as “royal” by Charles McNulty of The Los Angeles Times and “a joy” by David Rooney of The Hollywood Reporter. She received Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations.

This Creation of Michael Stewart and Jerry Herman’s Hello, Dolly! Immediately became the most coveted ticket of this year after it broke the record for the best first day of ticket sales in Broadway history. From the time that it started previews, it had the largest progress sale in Broadway history. Along with Mr. Creel’s Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical, Hello, Dolly! Won three additional Tonys, including Best Revival of a Musical, Best Actress in a Musical (Bette Midler), and Best Costume Design of a Musical (Santo Loquasto), and has continued to violate the Shubert Theatre home box office record Repeatedly and over and over again.

Started performances on Broadway on March 15, 2017, and formally opened on Thursday, April 20, 2017.

, the first new generation of this classic musical (based on Thornton Wilder’s The Matchmaker) to look on Broadway because it started over fifty years back, pays tribute to the work of its first director/ choreographer Gower Champion, that was hailed both then and today as one of the best stagings in musical theatre history.
